Deuteronomy 32:5-6

Corrupt are they and not his children, a generation warped and twisted to their shame. Is this the way you repay the Lord, O foolish and unwise people?

Matthew 7:15-23

"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

TERROR IN TOYLAND

Special Report – Amy Feng, Action 3 News

The festive opening of a new Fun-Time Toys location in suburban Ashton Mall was marred by violence this week!

Over fifty families were in attendance to witness the grand opening and hopefully take home some promotional toys. That is, until the super-villain Gepetto decided to crash the party.

Gepetto and his henchmen deployed some kind of mind-affecting gas, which rendered everyone in the area helpless with laughter!

An unknown other party then attacked, using explosive toys to wreak havoc among innocents and criminals alike.

The identity of that assailant is unknown, although the MO fits Desmond Lattam, aka “Toy Boy,” former owner of Fun-Time Toys.

The attack was interrupted by a new super-group, calling itself “The Redeemers”, that intervened to save the children and drive off Gepetto.

After the group defeated the killer toys and Gepetto’s marionettes,

they stayed to help with the injured. The group’s spokesman, who identified himself as “Stingray”, had this to say about the attack:

“ “

Captain Bill Maddicks of the FCPD’s STAR squad gave a public statement about the incident this Tuesday:

“We cordoned off the mall and made several arrests. I’d like to remind everyone out there that vigilantes are not the answer to crimes of this sort – call the police, that’s what we’re here for.”
