JUNIOR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY MEETS WILL BE HELD ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS:  September 10 - EB Meet; September 12 - Bergan Meet; September 16 - Yutan Meet; September 24 - Malcolm Meet; October 3 - Lincoln Lutheran Meet; October 8 - ECNC Meet. Participation is open to any Junior High student for any of these meets, regardless of what sport you are participating in this fall.  Transportation to and from the meet will be with the High School team.  For information, please contact Coach Nielsen anytime.

CLOSEUP WILL BE MAKING PIZZAS ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 AND DELIVERING THEM THAT AFTERNOON. This is a fundraiser for their trip to Washington DC and New York City at the end of May.  They are Godfathers Medium unbaked pizzas, and are $11.00 each.  Please contact a junior student, or Mr. Nielsen to place an order. Thanks for your support.

2012-2013 YEARBOOKS HAVE ARRIVED AND ARE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP AT THE HIGH SCHOOL. If you can't come to the school to pick it up, contact Ms. Widick to arrange delivery (545-2081 or kwidick@).  There are a few extra copies available for purchase at $40 if you missed out on your opportunity to get yours last year.

*Anyone who is planning on taking the ACT soon, there is an ACT WORKSHOP being

offered in David City on Oct. 5.  If interested, please see Mrs. Simmerman for

a registration form.  The deadline to sign up for this is September 27.

college visits, please see Mrs. Simmerman before you contact them for some

additional information.

STUDENTS WHO ATTEND ACTIVITIES IN THE EAST BUTLER GYM: All areas of the school are off limits to students during activities except the gym. Students in the hallways may be on their way to the concession stand in the MPR, or restroom or on their way back to the gym. Students are not allowed to loiter in hallways or be in any other areas of the building (wrestling room, stage, elementary or high school hallways). Students who leave the building during an activity will not be allowed to return. Students who intentionally leave through the emergency exit and sound the alarm will face disciplinary consequences which may include exclusion from attending activities.
