1. Introduction. (5 minutes)

A. REASON. STANDARDIZED FIRE COMMANDS AND RESPONSES TO FIRE COMMANDS ARE ESSENTIAL TO ENSURING THE UNIFORMITY OF THE ENTIRE ARMOR FORCE. AS TANK COMMANDERS AND GUNNERS, YOU WILL FREQUENTLY BE REQUIRED TO EVALUATE ANOTHER UNIT’S PERFORMANCE ON TANK TABLES IV THROUGH VIII. YOUR ABILITY TO IDENTIFY BOTH STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES IN THESE AREAS IS ESSENTIAL TO ENSURE THAT THE HIGHEST STANDARD AND LEVEL OF TRAINING IS BEING MAINTAINED.

Show Slide 1 through 3.

c. Safety. As applicable to the site being used for training.

d. Procedures. During this class, you will receive refresher training on the correct fire commands and responses to fire commands, as well as correct fire commands for degraded-mode gunnery situations.
