Assessment

This language focus lesson will allow me to do a formative assessement of the students' understanding of verb forms.

Post-lesson Reflection

This was a great lesson. The puzzle at the beginning of the lesson allowed students to focus and review key vocabulary from last week. The verb cloze activity also allowed for review and consolidation of the simple past for talking about events in the past.

Mentor was also very pleased with the lesson. Good plan to start lesson with the crossword puzzle. It was a well sequenced lesson and forms a good building block for the final writing task.
