Post-Open House Student MixerSponsored by the Sanford Student CouncilFullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee AvenueMarch 31st, 6:30 – 9:00 pm Following the Open House activities at Sanford, please join the Student Ambassadors and other current MPP students for an informal mixer at Fullsteam Brewery. This will be a great chance to unwind from the Open House and continue getting to know current and prospective students better. Fullsteam Brewery is a locally-owned, local ingredients micro-brewery whose stated mission is to “create a distinctly Southern beer style.” The brewery was co-founded by a Duke MPP/MBA graduate, Sean Lilly Wilson. To supplement Fullsteam’s menu of local brews, we will be providing pizza from Pop’s, a local Italian restaurant. We encourage you to carpool over to Fullsteam since parking is somewhat limited. If you need to leave early, there are several cab companies that will pick up from Fullsteam. Their numbers are provided on the reverse side. Turn right on Science Drive, drive 0.2 miles. 2. Take the 1st left onto Towerview Road, drive 0.5 miles. 3. Take the 2nd right onto Erwin Rd, drive 1.9 miles. 4. Turn right at Main Street (just after the underpass under the train tracks), drive 1.2 miles. 5. Slight left at East Chapel Hill Street, drive 0.2 miles. 6. Take the 3rd left onto Rigsbee Avenue (just after passing Post Office on left), drive 0.4 miles. Fullsteam Brewery will be on your right, 726 Rigsbee Avenue. The parking lot will be available across the street from Fullsteam on your left. Please try to park on the left hand side of the lot against the fence – Fullsteam shares the lot with Motorco, a music venue nearby, and they try to keep cars for Fullsteam to that side of the lot.
