Do not ask me about extra credit -- periodically, I will have extra credit opportunities I will offer to the whole class. There is no other extra credit.Your term average is determined by averaging your daily and major grades. UIL requirements will not necessarily follow our term periods. It will remain a 0% until it is turned in. No Count = you did not complete the assignment and you are not required to make it up. If possible, you will have the opportunity to make it up on your own time.Retests These will be offered for every unit test you do not pass. You must attend at least one tutorial session to go over your original test and have done the original test review to have the opportunity to take the retest. The highest grade possible on the retest is 75. Please note: it is a different test than the original!LabYou must practice lab safety each time we are in the lab. This means you MUST be wearing closed toed shoes and wear goggles during the entire lab. If you are wearing open toed shoes on lab day, you may lose participation points. Digital Handouts:Safety Symbols: Contract: Equipment: are responsible for obtaining any notes or completing work you missed while you were absent. You are also responsible for completing any study packet sets, but you will be given extra time. You have 1 day for each day absent to turn in any missing work. If you missed a test or quiz, you can be expected to take it the day you return. If you miss a lab, you will be given data and asked to finish the lab report using that data. Please remember you can always find out what you missed by going to our calendar on our class website. Don’t forget to ask for your absent stamp for homework. Late WorkIt is expected that you will turn in assignments the day they are due. DHS late work policy will be followed. An absent does not excuse you from completing your study set. Ask me for a stamp when you have it completed.
