What Is TimeClock Plus?

TimeClock Plus is used by some UMASS Amherst students to submit hours worked for jobs on campus. Hours for multiple jobs can be submitted on the same timecard.

Log On to TimeClock Plus

1. Login to TimeClock Plus using this link.

TimeClock Plus DOES NOT WORK ON THE SAFARI WEB BROWSER. If this is your default browser, try copying and pasting the link into a different browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

2. Complete the login process using your Net ID and UMass Password

Entering Total Hours

Enter Your Time

Use this method if your supervisor requested entering the total hours worked for the shift.

2. Make sure you are on the correct Time Period.

Change the Time Period by using

on the appropriate day to add a new shift to your timecard

5. Enter your Total Hours worked. Enter your Start Time and Total Hours

Do not leave shift entries with 0.00 hours. Click to remove shift entries as needed.

ENTER YOUR HOURS IN QUARTER HOUR INCREMENTS.

? For 15 minutes, enter 0.25 ? For 30 minutes, enter 0.50 ? For 45 minutes, enter 0.75

For example:

? You worked 7 hrs and 15 min Enter 7.25 You worked 2 hrs and 30 min Enter 2.50

Do not hit

again once the

hours have been entered for a given day

unless adding a second shift for that day

because you worked a second job.

6. YOU MUST THEN CLICK SUPERVISOR!

TO SAVE YOUR ENTRY AND SUBMIT TIME TO YOUR

Edit your Time

Entered shifts can be edited up until the time they are approved by a supervisor. Once approved, shifts can no longer be edited unless the approval is removed. To change the HOURS WORKED for any existing shift

1. Click into the Hours field and edit the number previously entered.

NOTE: you will need to click anywhere outside the shift on your time sheet or click the Tab button on your keyboard

to see the

button.

2. Click the

button in the top left corner of your screen to SAVE your changes.

To change the DATE WORKED for any existing shift

Click

on that shift.

1. Click into the Date field and edit the date previously entered.

NOTE: your Hours will be shown as clock time instead of decimal time in this view (1:45 instead of 1.75). You do not need to change this.

button in the top left corner of your screen to SAVE time sheet changes.

Select a Different Job for your Shift

Some students will enter time for more than one job in TimeClock plus. If this is the case, a new shift entry will default to your primary job, but you can select a different job using these steps.

1. Click

on your shift

2. Select a different job from the Job Code drop-down

NOTE: your Hours will be shown as clock time instead of decimal time in this view (1:45 instead of 1.75). You do not need to change this.

3. Click

4. If you are splitting your day across 2 jobs and shifts, you will click

to create a second shift

under the same day and select the appropriate job for each shift (per prior step).

Entering Start /End Time

Use this method if your supervisor requested entering the start time and end time of the shift.

1. Click
