It is well laid out and easy to use once you spend a few minutes with it and a chart of your favorite area for boating.Quibles - The abbreviations are split into three sections, so if you don't find your chart abbreviation in one index, go to the next, or the next. I used this book while taking an ASA sailing course on navigation. It is easy to use and great for someone who has never looked at a chart before.

Well, the print is not quite that small but hard to read. I couldn't understand why they used such a small font when they had plenty of room to use a more readable size. I would not buy a similar publication like this again
