If you have a Car, Truck, SUV or Van--You Can Help! Society of St. Andrews needs people to get food to local agencies within the 17 county Charlotte Metro Area (NC and SC). While the pandemic has caused increased food insecurity in our area, the generosity of farmers, distributors, and our volunteers has allowed us to move more food than ever! But we need your help. Several of our longtime drivers have had to step down, and we need people to help us fill the gap, allowing us to get food to as many people as possible all year long. Can you help? Our agencies and neighborhoods all over the area depend on drivers to get food to them. If you have flexible hours and would like to build a relationship with some of our great recipients, we would love to plug you in. We have agencies throughout the 17-county Charlotte metro area (in North and South Carolina) that need drivers to help them get fresh food. Find out more. Email Jean Siers at gleanclt@. Access our volunteer calendar and more online.
