Prepare and adapt training, review, revise, and modify training periodically and as neededDeliver training for workforce development system staff and customers (job seekers and employers)Create multimedia training aids; identify and evaluate vendor products for online training modules, multimedia, and computer-based trainingEvaluate training effectiveness and recommend specific training modificationsCollaborate with training unit staff and management to determine staff development needs and identify/recommend solutionsProvide training advice to staff regarding planning, scheduling, and delivery of trainingAssist training unit and system staff with learning management system registration, tracking and reportingCoordinate training planning, development and delivery tasks with program staff and subject matter experts as directedOperate technical equipment, hardware, and software used for creation and delivery of training.Travel as needed in the performance of dutiesDemonstrates regular and reliable attendancePerforms other related work as assignedCOMPETENCIES:Working Knowledge of Learning StrategiesCollaboration Skills Training FacilitationExcellent Oral and Written Communication SkillsStrategic ThinkingTraining DevelopmentEvaluation and AssessmentOrganizational DevelopmentCurriculum Design QUALIFICATIONS:I Level: Five or more years of experience in a professional, professional supervisory, or technical job classification with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System(Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university in Education, Business, or Public Administration, the social sciences, or a closely related area may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year of experience.)ORA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Education, Business or Public Administration, the social sciences, or a closely related field; AND, One or more years of professional or technical experience in a business, governmental, or military setting, where the primary duties involved formal classroom training, training course design and development, and/or curriculum planning; professional teaching experience at the high school level or above; and/or educational administration involving responsibility for curriculum planning and the supervision of teaching staffII Level: One or more years of experience as a Training Technician I with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay SystemORA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Education, Business or Public Administration, the social sciences, or a closely related field; AND, Two or more years of professional or technical experience in a business, governmental, or military setting, where the primary duties involved formal classroom training, training course design and development, and/or curriculum planning; professional teaching experience at the high school level or above; and/or educational administration involving responsibility for curriculum planning and the supervision of teaching staff; OR two or more years of professional supervisory experience with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System(24 earned graduate credit hours from an accredited college or university in the specified areas may substitute for the required experience.)(Additional qualifying experience may substitute on a year-for year basis for deficiencies in the required education.) ................
