RESEARCH/SCHOLARSHIP INTERESTS

My research in sport policy is focused on the ways in which sport can be used to further the goals of community stakeholders and host governments at the local, regional, and national level. I am specifically interested in the ways in which non-participatory sport (e.g., major leagues, minor leagues, college athletics) can be leveraged to maximize community benefits in the areas of economic development, place marketing, and social welfare.
