Skiles Test Elementary. The list goes on and on.

We are in the business of educating children. With the support of your locally elected Board of Education, our staff works tirelessly to ensure that we are continuing to provide the highest quality educational experiences for our students and remain good stewards of resources allocated to us by the state and local community. Major initiatives, approved by the Board of Education during 2018-2019, span student achievement, facilities, finances, and personnel, and are outlined below:

Student Achievement:

Continued work with Learning Sciences International on student-centered, rigorous teaching and learning,

Continued expansion of bilingual education opportunities,

Implementation of Elementary STEM for ALL providing all elementary students access to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) experiences,

The addition of new academic courses supporting Indiana's graduation pathways in the area of computer science, child development and workplace Spanish,

Expanded partnerships with Indiana University, Vincennes University and Ivy Tech to provide more dual credit opportunities for students.
