School of Embroidery

We are changing how we do this course a little. Starting in August we ask that you bring your machine to class & each month will have a supply list. You can borrow our machine for an additional $5.00 fee if you provide your own bobbins & needles for the machine. Still included every month is the designs for class project, hands on class instruction, stabilizer kit for class, printed classroom materials, and special pricing on products used in each month's class. Our instructor will guide you through the technique and you will work on a project in class to help master the skill before you head home! All machine brands are welcome, multiple file formats are available. Students will be emailed a supply list for each class and are expected to come prepared to class in order to keep the class running smoothly.

Class times are: July $20 + $5 kit fee. Bring your own thread & t-shirt. Friday, July 7, 10a-1p Saturday, July 8, 10a-1p Thursday, July 13, 12:30-3:30p

After July there will be two different purchase prices. Purchase August through December all at once and only pay $25 per month! Or Pick-and-choose the classes you want to take throughout the year for $35 per month!

Quilts for Kids

Saturday July 22 Quilts for Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to brightening the lives of children who suffer from abuse or life-threatening illnesses. With the help of respected fabric manufacturers, generous volunteers, and donors, we transform high quality fabrics into patchwork quilts that offer comfort to children in need. Interested in lending a helping hand? Please join us on Saturday, JULY 22 at 10 AM to volunteer to transform fabric into comforting quilts. Lunch provided. Can't wait to see everyone!

Second Saturday

Starts January 13 Do you love to quilt, interact with fellow quilters and enjoy making quilt blocks, then join us for this year's Second Saturday. We will be using Wilmington, Moda, Benartex and many more fabric vendors to create a beautiful quilt. This year's inspiration is from the Quilt Block Cookbook by Amy Gibson. The book contains 50 Block Recipes, 7 sampler quilts and endless possibilities. The great thing about this year's quilt, you can use Amy's 7 innovative modern sampler patterns, or you can cook up your own one of a kind design! No need to sign up, just show up between 8:30 and 9:00 am the Second Saturday (or Friday before) of every month starting January 13th. Buy your first block and stay for the short program. Then, on the next Second Saturday, bring your completed block, stay for the short program and receive your next month's block free! No need to sign up, Just show up on January 13th or 14th!! Looking forward to a new and exciting 2017 Second Saturday!!!
