Paul Lyle Bammerlin Aug. 19, 1940-Dec. 30, 2006

Paul Lyle BAMMERLIN, 66, Akron, died at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Select Specialty Rehabilitation Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born in Peru, he was the son of Albert William Bammerlin and Ruth Agnes (Fites) Bammerlin, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Akron High School in 1958 and attended agriculture classes at Purdue University.

A retired farmer, he also retired in 2006 after 22 years with Pike Lumber Co., Akron. He married Lottie Colleen Lipply on Aug. 2, 1964, and she survives.

He was a member of Packerton United Methodist Church, Packerton, and Rochester Lodge No. 79 F&AM. He enjoyed working in his woodshop and raising cattle.

He is also survived by two daughters, Beth Colleen (Wayne) Landis, Mentone, and Betsy Jane (Andrew) Weaver, Claypool; and three grandsons, Zachary Landis and Jeremiah Landis, both of Mentone, and Joshua Weaver, Claypool. He loved his family and grandsons dearly.

His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Packerton United Methodist Church with Pastor Noel Reed and Pastor David Wagner officiating. Calling hours are from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester. Memorials may be made

Charles T. 'Tom' Floyd July 22, 1946-Dec. 30, 2006

Charles T. "Tom" FLOYD, 60, Rochester, formerly of Winamac, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Saturday at his residence near Kewanna.

Mr. Floyd was born on July 22, 1946, in Logansport. He was the son of the late Glenn R. and Marie (Wiseley) Floyd. On May 1, 2003, he married Tammy J. Hamilton. She survives.

He worked at Kewanna Metals, Kewanna, and was a member at Global Harvest Church, Monterey, and the Christian Home Church, Rochester. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards.

Survivors include wife, Tammy J. Floyd, Rochester; sons, Thomas William Floyd (Tina), Robin A. Floyd, Timothy J. Floyd (Tammy), and a daughter, Viola Mae Henderson (Jeffrey), all of Winamac; stepsons, Craig B. Jones, Logansport, and Glen Hamilton, Rochester; a sister, Patsy VanVoorst of Monon; his father-in-law, Lawrence A. Hamilton, Rochester; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Walters, whom he married Sept. 11, 1969, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Monterey, and who died in 1989. He was also preceded in death by his second wife, Charlene L. Rearick Jones, whom he married at Ora, on Aug. 19, 1990, and who died Sept. 1, 2002. He was also preceded by two brothers.

His funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Global Harvest Church, eight miles north of Winamac on U.S. 35, with Pastor Billy Bope officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Peters Catholic Cemetery, Winamac. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel, Kewanna, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial

Edna E. Lemler Edna E. LEMLER, 66, of 201 W. Florence St., Bourbon, died

Saturday at home. Survivors include three daughters, Debra Whitley, Tallahassee,

Fla., Kimberly Antrim, Rochester, and Lori Hestand, Chicago, Ill.; three sons, Michael Whitley, Douglas, Ga., Keith Lemler, Etna Green, and Kenneth Lemler Jr., Greenwood; a sister, Lou Guericke, Bourbon; and a brother, Eugene Johnson, Greensboro, N.C.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until the service Thursday.

Ryan Wrigley Parmeter Aug. 31, 2004-Dec. 30, 2006

Ryan Wrigley PARMETER, 2 1/2, of Thatcher, Ariz., was born on Aug. 31, 2004, and passed away Saturday, Dec, 30, 2006.

During his life, he touched the lives of many people with his intelligence, energy and vibrant personality. He could be found on Wednesday and Saturday nights on the campus of Eastern Arizona College following his dad's Gila Monster Basketball Team. Ryan's unique middle name was given due to his father's love and affection for the Chicago Cubs. A gift of pure joy, he touched many lives and was loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include his father, Tim Parmeter; grandparents, Patricia and Jim Dunnuck; aunt and uncle, Tara and Scott Seuferer;

great-grandparents Frank and Juanita Johnson; and a host of extended family and friends.

His graveside service will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1800 Grant St., Logansport, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, with Rev. Doug Mankell officiating. Family and friends may join the funeral processional to the cemetery, which will leave Fisher Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a.m. A memorial service was held in Ryan's honor in Arizona today.

James J. Clemens James J. CLEMENS, 93, of 9905 E. 14th Road, Argos, died

Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with visitation from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Frederick Byron Keim April 11, 1927-Jan. 5, 2007

Frederick Byron KEIM, 79, of 1210 Jackson Blvd., Rochester, passed away at 12:05 a.m. today at his residence. His health had declined in the past few months.

He was born on April 11, 1927, at his family's farm just west of Green Oak (Rochester), the son of Robert William and Myrtle

Florence (Jewell) Keim. He married neighbor and childhood friend, Mary Ruth Gottschalk, at her parent's home just south of Green Oak on Oct. 5, 1951, and she survives.

Fred attended grade school at Woodrow School and graduated from Rochester High School in 1945. He was a member of the Rochester varsity basketball team that won the sectional his senior year. Following graduation, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served during World War II in Texas and Oklahoma.

He worked as a Northwest crane operator for 23 years with Sampsel and Son. Beginning in 1971, Fred worked as a mechanic for several automobile dealerships at Indiana 14 East and Indiana 25 North, starting with Bud Hartman Motors and lastly with the Louderback agency. Fred loved his family and spending time at his childhood home and family farm. His interest mainly focused on his 1942 International Farmall "H" tractor.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Keim, Rochester; son Keith Alan and wife Patricia Jean Keim, Rochester, and daughter, Jane Ann and husband Dr. Chad Colin Cripe, Philadelphia, Pa.; grandchildren, Natalie Renae Keim and Phillip Clark Keim, both of Rochester, Linnea Rose Cripe, Adison Perry Cripe, Ethan Colin Cripe, all of Philadelphia, Pa., Bryce Cripe Williams, Elkhart, foreign exchange student grandchildren, Thanh Nguyen, DaLat City, Vietnam and Rochester, and Margit Klinghammer, Lichterfelde, Germany. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Robert William Keim II and his parents.

His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Linda Sue Hewitt officiating. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester. Donald R. Neidlinger Nov. 22, 1936-Jan. 3, 2007

Donald R. "Don" NEIDLINGER, 70, a lifetime Marshall County resident, died of natural causes at his residence, 16682 14 B Road, Culver, at 5:10 p.m. on Wednesday, where he had lived since 1965.

Born in Tyner, on Nov. 22, 1936, the son of Fay O. and Marjorie Kelver Neidlinger, Don was raised in Culver. He graduated from Culver High School with the class of 1954, and earned his ferrier certificate from Michigan State University. He also received an associate's degree in equine science. In his younger years, he raced horses and remained a ferrier until December of this past year.

He was an expert field tile installer for more than 40 years through his company, Neidlinger Drainage. An avid sportsman he enjoyed coon hunting and raising fox terriers and coon dogs.

Musically talented, Don played the saxophone and stand-up bass with the band "Cardiac Kids," made up of various family members and friends. Don was proud to be a longtime charter member of the "Culver Liars Club."

He is survived by two daughters and two sons and soon-to-be eight grandchildren. His daughters and their families are: Donna G. Greene, Culver, and children, Chevy "Dodge" Porter and Johnathon George Hopple; Angela Neidlinger and Tim Weist, Argos, with children, Robert Allen Green II, Dugan Vaughn Green, Allison Weist and the anticipated arrival of Peyton Timothy Weist. His sons are: John P. Neidlinger, Plymouth, with daughter Kaitlin Dean Stone; and Casey B. and Angie Neidlinger, Greenwood, with son Elijah David Neidlinger. Two sisters, Joan and Francis Zink, Culver, and Jean and Clem Miller, Rochester, together with numerous nieces and nephews, survive as well. Don was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Morris, and three brothers, Ralph, Glen and Robert "Sam" Neidlinger.

Friends are invited to share memories of Don's life with his family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. A funeral service for Don will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Tom Padberg,

Wabash Ave., formerly of Claypool, died Tuesday at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen Horn, Akron, and Jonanna Leopold, Harbor Springs, Mich.

Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Claypool United Methodist Church, with visitation from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
