MASS INTENTIONS One way that we can remember a loved one or pray for a special intention is through the Mass Intention. The usual offering is $15. While most times the person remembered has died, we can also pray for the living, for someone's health or for any special intention. Please don't forget your mask when coming into the Office to request a Mass Intention.

PRAYER INTENTION BOOK

For those who attend our Masses or for those who visit the church during the week, you have the opportunity to offer a personal prayer intention by writing it in the Prayer Intention Book. The Book will found on the lectern in the vestibule. At all our weekend Masses we offer a special prayer for all the intentions that are written in the Book of Intentions.

REGISTRATION FOR FAITH FORMATION AND CONFIRMATION CLASSES NOW OPEN!

Registration for Faith Formation classes (Grades 1-9) and Confirmation classes (Grade 10) have been mailed out. Please return them as soon as possible. They may be returned by mail or dropped off at the parish office from 9AM-3PM on Sundays or 9AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday. If you have any questions, please email Elizabeth at sfareled@ or call 716-297-3357. We cannot wait to start classes in September and help your children grow in their faith!

RCIA CLASSES COMING SOON! St. Francis of Assisi will be holding an RCIA class beginning in the fall for adults who wish to join the Catholic Church. The Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and the Holy

Eucharist will be celebrated at the Easter Vigil (Saturday, April 16, 2022). Classes will cover a wide range of topics, ensuring that each Confirmation candidate has a well rounded knowledge and a deepened love of the Catholic faith prior to becoming a full member of the church. One start by attending one of our weekend Masses. If you or someone you know would like to participate or have questions, please contact Fr. Ross or Elizabeth Irzycki at sfareled@ or call 716-627-3357. We are looking forward to guiding new members into the fullness of the faith!

MINISTERS NEEDED! PLEASE THINK & PRAY ABOUT BECOMING A(N):

Altar Server Eucharistic Minister

Lector Choir Member

Greeter Now that we are on the way of putting COVID-19 behind us, please consider serving your Faith Community as one of our liturgical ministers. While we are still not running at our full capacity, we would like to start making plans as more and more things open up. Liturgical Ministries include: Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Altar Server, Choir and Greeter. Serving in one these ministries is a real service to the Community and is also a way of participating more deeply and fully in the Mass. The more ministers we have, the less frequently one is called upon to serve. If you would like more information or would like to sign up to serve, please fill out the form below and return it to the parish office or place it in the collection basket along with your weekly offering.

ROAD TO RENEWAL UPDATE You will notice that pages 4 and 5 of this week's bulletin have recent updates concerning the proposed diocesan initiative call the Road to Renewal. (You may have read the recent article in the Buffalo News concerning the proposal.) As you can see, it has been suggested that we will become part of a Parish Family that also includes, St. Mary's of the Lake, St. John Paul II, St. Anthony (Farnham) and Most Precious Blood (Angola). Page 4 gives a general outline of what this will mean for each Family. The Diocese is currently in a time of consultation, that is, the Diocese is looking for input concerning the proposed plan. It is my hope that as many people as possible express their opinion to the diocesan leadership, via email or letter, before things are set in stone.
