Key facts include:

Quality Improvement Division funded a FLO test of concept in University Hospital Kerry and capacity building for QID National Team and QI coaches. ? Where? Engagement with staff in University Hospital Kerry ? How? Using FLO methodologies - combination of onsite visits and off site contact by

videoconferencing /teleconferencing and unlimited access in between calls by email, telephone or video ? Who was involved? 5 teams, 3 on-site visits with webex / coaching calls. ? Sustaining the approach: Development of QI coaches in FLO methodology (minimum 2 local and 2 QID) ? Organisational awareness / capacity building and engagement with HR ongoing ? Timeframes: Test commenced November 2015 and will conclude in June 2016 inclusive provider extended timeframe - SLA allowed for five months ? Measurement: Evaluation of the success of pilot and impact of the initiative - including data analysis and final report regarding implementation / learning from same in progress. Preliminary feedback positive.
