RIO HONDO AREA OFFICE HOLDS COMMUNITY RESOURCE & JOB FAIR

On Thursday, August 11th, the Rio Hondo Area Office hosted a Community Resource & Job Fair with several CBOs & 40 plus onsite companies offering resources & employment information. Attendees gathered valuable information, and Fulgent was onsite providing Covid-19 testing, vaccinations, & boosters.

AB-109 and Formal Supervision Deputies strategically scheduled appointments with clients during fair hours. After checking in with their assigned Probation Officer, several clients could be found at the fair vendor booths gathering information on services and resources. The Amazon, Fed-Ex, and Anti Recidivism Coalition booths appeared to be the most popular amongst clients.

ANTELOPE VALLEY JUVENILE AREA OFFICE HOSTS COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR

On July 22nd, the Los Angeles County Probation Department hosted an Antelope Valley Juvenile Area Office Community Engagement and Resource Fair. More than 25 service providers were onsite to engage with and provide free resources and services to the community and justice-involved youth, their families, guardians, and support teams.

"Our One Stop Community Resource Fair provided valuable information to community members," shared Assistant Director L. Nelson. "I enjoyed seeing the community come out and felt a sense of fulfillment witnessing the kids interact with our service providers." Thank you to the Antelope Valley Juvenile Area Office staff for another successful Community Resource Fair!
