These results suggest that not only does caffeine have differing effects dependent on dose, but it also affects stages ofmemory differently. Retention seemed to be the most affected stage ofmemory. It can also be concluded from the study done by Angelucci et al. (2002) that caffeine may impair retention when administered pre­ training. ................
