ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED) WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF A4440 CROOKBARROW WAY, WHITTINGTON, WORCESTERSHIRE ("THE HIGHWAY")

Reason for restriction: Southern Link Dualling Works. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with Norton Roundabout A4440 to its junction with Whittington Roundabout A4440.

2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 5 days commencing 2 December 2019.

3. Alternative routes: - Westbound Diversion ? High sided vehicles over 15'9/4.8m A4440 Whittington Rd, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A4440 Nunnery Way, A4440 Grange Way, A4440 Trotshill Way, A4440 Parsonage Way, A4440 Warndon Way A449 Worcester Northern Link, A449 Ombersley Rd, A449 Barbourne Rd, A38 Upper Tything, A38 The Tything, A38 St Marys Street, A38 Sansome Walk, A38 Sansome Street, A38 City Walls Rd, A38 Sidbury, A38 Commandery Road A38 Bath Rd, A38 Worcester Rd, A4440 Broomhall Way.

Westbound Diversion ? Vehicles Under 15'9 ONLY A4440 Broomhall Way, A38 Worcester Rd, A38 Bath Rd, A38 Commandary Road A44 Sidbury, A44 London Road, A44 Whittington Road, A4440 Whittington Road

Eastbound Diversion ? All other vehicles A4440 Whittington Road, A44 Whittington Road, A44 London Road, A44 Sidbury, A38 Commandary Road, A38 Worcester Rd, A4440 Whittington Road and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
