This course covers the theoretical aspects of the “radiation use and safety” section of the JCHMT curriculum for SpRs in Cardiology. The lectures may also be of interest to other staff groups working in the cath lab.

In addition to the lectures, SpRs will be expected to attend a video demonstration and discussion of dose reduction features and techniques. This will be held at the end of the lecture course.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded. SpRs will receive a two-part certificate covering the lecture course and video demonstration separately.

The registration fee for the course is £100, with a £35 discount for West Midlands SpRs. Only payment by cheque can be accepted.

5 RCP CPD credits have been applied for.

The closing date for registration is Friday 11th May.
