It is great to not go to school. At my job I can work 30 hours in the summer and make more money. I use the money to pay for gas and take road trips. Vacations are great. The best part of summer is seeing my friends and not having a curfew.

Once school starts, I become much busier. I have football practice and homework to get done every night.

It is also possible to learn by going to museums, or even just riding the train to the city to hang out for the day. Many valuable lessons can come from summer vacation.
