To register for classes you will click the link on the left side of the screen that says “Student Information Center”. Next Click on the link labeled “Scheduling”. If Registration is open you will see a link that says “Registration”. You can click on it and register for classes. This link is only available during active registration periods. Tuition may be paid online with a credit card by accessing the same system you did to register for classes.Or you may contact the business office by phone and arrange payment. To access the student wireless system you must first activate your account by logging into a WCC lab computer. You can access a computer in the Learning Resource Center or in CTC 128 on the Wallace Campus. On the Sparks Campus you can access a computer in the Learning Resource Center. Logging into an on-campus lab computer verifies your account and allows you to change your password. By default this is set to first initial, last name, last four of social security number for the username and the password is whatever you set it as the first time you logged into an on-campus computer.Once you have logged on and changed your password you will be able to use your personal computer to connect wirelessly in certain areas of the campus. When connecting to the wireless access choose the Wallace Student option. Once you are connected start your Internet Browser. You will be prompted for a username and password. Student use the same login information used for on-campus computers. The linked document will provide you step by step instructions on connecting your laptop wirelessly. The new procedure is listed below:A CIE staff member will login to the new ELT Instructor account daily. We will monitor the ELT Grade Center all day during peak registration times.The CIE staff member will click on Needs Grading under the ELT Grade CenterThis view shows all students that have submitted an assignment that needs grading.Click on the first students name to bring up their assignment.Grade the assignment and use the arrows at near to top to advance to the next assignment that needs grading. View the attempt and grade as appropriateStudents will get credit for either submitting a file or submitting a text response in the Comments section. If they have submitted the assignment in any form they get credit. After you grade all submitted assignments choose the ELT Pending under the ELT Grade Center. Approve them in ADUDE in the AS400 system. Note: only students who have completed the ELT Quiz (100%) and have a graded assignment (100%) will show up in the ELT Pending view. As you approve them in ADUDE enter a 1 in the Able to Register for Online Courses column to add a Yes to that grade column. Once you have approved all students click the Needs Grading option again to check for last minute submissions. Other options available under the ELT Grade Center are:Needs Grading – Shows students that have an Assignment waiting to be graded, does not reflect completion of the ELT Quiz Full Grade Center – Shows all students who have access to ELTELT Pending – Shows those that have a Final Average of 100% ELT Complete – shows those that have completed the ELT Quiz with (100%) and have a graded Assignment (100%) and are approved to be Able to Register for Online Courses.
