Mastry's Brewing Co. Semi-Annual Fashion Show Returns to Support Angels Against Abuse

Today Mastry's Brewing Co. is excited to announce the return of its semi-annual fashion show event, "Winter Solstice Extravaganza." In partnership with Market Mafia, the December 16th Winter Solstice Extravaganza and Fashion Show will feature both a day and night market, food truck, DJ, and interactive fashion show. A portion of proceeds from the semi-annual event will benefit Angels Against Abuse, a local non-profit focused on protecting children at risk for abuse and helping children who have been abused.

With the goal of small business collaboration and community involvement, the Winter Solstice Extravaganza and Fashion Show is an opportunity for customers to support many local business es and a great local cause all in one night.

According to Market Mafia co-founders Tara Britton and Kimberly Rydinsky, "Market Mafia is proud to continually partner with Mastry's Brewing Co. on this innovative event showcasing the local community. We are also thrilled to bring onboard Angels Against Abuse this winter; they are doing incredibly important work throughout our community."

Angels Against Abuse will receive a portion of proceeds from Mastry's Brewing Co. and vendor sales during the duration of the event. Both the Winter Solstice day and night markets will boast an intimate shopping atmosphere from local artists and boutiques. The fashion show will highlight looks carefully selected from boutiques across St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, and Downtown St. Pete. In keeping with the Winter Solstice theme, the fashion show will take you on a journey from beach-by-day, to beach-by-night, for both his and hers.

Looking ahead to the future, Mastry's Brewing Co. is currently working on a number of new small-batch and limited-release beers, along with multi-brewery collaborations. Planning is also in progress for several upcoming events including: Barre on the Patio, Prohibition Party, New Year's Eve, and more.

About Angels Against Abuse Angels Against Abuse ("Angels") was created by a small group of visionaries who saw a need to provide assistance to children beyond the scope of basic services covered by the foster care system. Most often, these children are removed forcibly from their homes due to abuse, and they are placed in the care of agency housing or private foster homes. The experience is traumatic, and the children often leave with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The Angels team set out to help these kids by providing goods and services not covered by the foster care system; helping to reduce the trauma of home removal; trying to create as many traditional childhood experiences for these children living in non-traditional conditions; and working with children and families to stop the cycle of abuse.
