Winter Wonderland in New York

Winter Wonderland in New York
The
theme
of
a
Winter
Wonderland
in
New
York
will
be
appropriate
for
UnionTex's
seasonal
shoppers,
while
also
catering
to
a
few
of
their
other
needs
as
well.
The
vision
for
this
collection
was
to
provide
UnionTex's
male
and
female
customers
with
winter
wear
that
looks
like
it
came
off
the
runway,
but
can
be
purchased
at
department
store
prices.
All
of
these
garments
will
be
perfectly
chic,
versatile,
and
comfortable
enough
to
transition
from
day
to
evening.
There
will
also
be
a
focus
on
faux
furs
in
this
winter
collection.
No
real
fur
for
our
eco--friendly
customer
base!
It
might
also
be
nice
to
hold
open
donations
for
a
wildlife
charity
during
the
fashion
show
to
help
demonstrate
UnionTex's
social
responsibility.
The
color
palette
will
consist
of
deep
grays,
blacks,
and
browns
accompanied
by
rich
hues
of
ruby
red
and
light
fleshy
tones
to
create
warmth.
The
accessories
in
the
collection
will
put
a
focus
on
metallics
and
the
traditional
golds
and
silvers
of
winter.
Venue
I
chose
the
Winter
Wonderland
in
New
York
fashion
show
to
take
place
at
the
urban,
chic
Midtown
Loft
and
Terrace
located
at
the
northeast
corner
of
29th
Street
and
Fifth
Avenue
in
the
heart
of
Manhattan.
We
would
be
able
to
take
advantage
of
the
folding
chairs
and
white
and
red
furniture
provided
by
the
loft.
The
couches
could
function
as
VIP
seating
and
the
folding
chairs
could
be
lined
up
in
rows
behind
the
couches
on
either
side
of
the
runway.
The
loft
provides
5,000
square
feet
of
space
and
can
accommodate
up
to
300
people.
It
would
be
a
floor
runway
show
to
emphasize
the
minimalistic
touches
of
the
venue.
A
long
white
fabric
would
be
used
for
the
runway,
and
glitter
would
be
thrown
about
the
fabric
to
emulate
snow.
The
two
tracks
of
lights
already
in
the
room
would
be
used
to
spotlight
the
runway
in
the
center
between
them.
The
high
ceilings
and
contemporary
lighting
make
the
Midtown
Loft
and
Terrace
ideal
for
this
event.
The
hard
wood
floors
will
greatly
compliment
the
models
as
they
walk
down
the
runway
adding
additional
light
from
the
gleaming
reflection.
There
is
even
a
staging
area
that
can
be
used
for
a
backstage/changing
room.
This
type
of
staging,
seating,
and
lighting
will
give
a
cozy,
warm
feel
to
the
overall
production,
which
coincides
perfectly
with
the
Winter
Wonderland
theme.
Assessment Tool
To
track
the
success
of
the
fashion
show,
I
have
compiled
the
following
questionnaire
to
be
filled
in
after
the
show's
completion
by
members
of
the
production
staff.
Staffers
will
circle
their
desired
score
for
each
category,
and
the
points
will
totaled
at
the
bottom.
These
evaluations
will
be
used
in
preparation
for
the
planning
of
future
fashion
shows.

Makeup
For
the
female
models
in
the
UnionTex
Winter
Wonderland
Fashion
Show,
I
chose
a
soft,
dewy
look
that
represents
the
warmth
of
the
model's
skin
as
they
step
out
into
a
chilly
winter's
evening.
The
eye
colors
will
consist
of
glimmering
and
shimmering
golds
with
mauve
highlights
and
blush
to
match.
The
lips
will
be
lined
with
a
creamy
pencil
and
topped
with
a
peach
colored
gloss.
Black
eyeliner
will
be
used
on
only
the
top
of
the
eye
lids
and
taper
out
into
points
at
the
out
corners
of
the
eye.
This
will
give
a
sort
of
classic
feel
that
will
pair
nicely
with
the
faux
furs
in
the
collection.
The
male
models
will
also
wear
a
dewy
complexion
and
use
golds
to
highlight
different
areas,
like
the
chin
and
cheekbones.
I
will
use
a
neutral
colored
lip
balm
to
add
moisture
to
the
overall
look,
but
I
would
not
add
any
shades
of
peach
or
mauve
to
the
male
model's
makeup
palette
to
keep
their
look
very
simple
and
natural
looking.
I
feel
like
this
makeup
palette
would
speak
to
the
overall
theme
and
inspiration
for
a
winter
wonderland
by
utilizing
the
simple
beauty
of
the
subtle
tones
and
shades
of
the
makeup
and
pairing
them
with
the
darker
neutral
colors,
reds,
and
peaches
of
the
garments
that
will
seen
in
the
fashion
show.
