Notes on MLA Style Works Cited Entries for Revenge and Justice Essay

• Follow the guidelines in section 32b of A Pocket Style Manual by Diana Hacker.

• Remember to format the entry correctly. Works Cited should be the heading, and it should be centered. The entries should be listed in alphabetical order, with a hanging indent. See page 152 in A Pocket Style Manual for an example of the correct formatting.

• For short stories from Reading the World or World Masterpieces, follow the directions from the MLA style guide for citing a “Work in an Anthology” (#10 on page 131 in A Pocket Style Manual). I have done The Inferno for you as an example below.

• The other works have been cited for you, below. Be sure to copy them correctly.
