FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Media Contact: Jayna Legg, 224-610-3132Sept. 22, 2014Job Fair Oct. 2 for Veterans, Military co-sponsored by Lovell Federal Health Care CenterNORTH CHICAGO, Ill. – More than 60 potential employers are scheduled to be at a job fair Oct. 2 in North Chicago co-sponsored by the Lovell Federal Health Care Center’s Vocational Rehabilitation Unit and Naval Station Great Lakes Fleet and Family Support Center’s Transition Assistance and Family Readiness Programs.The job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Forrestal Community Center. It is open to active duty military members, Veterans, military retirees, Reservists, eligible family members and Department of Defense employees.Job and resource vendors from throughout area will take part in the program. Representatives will accept applications and speak with potential employees. Vendors include Sears Holding Corporation, the Home Depot, Job Center of Lake County, Illinois Department of Employment Security, Manpower, Goodwill, Arcoa Group, Kelly Services, Altom Transport Inc., Staffing Network, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Titan Security, Volt Workforce Solutions, Procter & Gamble, the Popcorn Factory, Orion International, Chik-fil-A and H&R Block.
