Lankenau Hospital, Medical Research Division – May 1997 – August 1997

Laboratory research assistant, participated in a project to determine possible protein-protein interactions between the product of the c-ras oncogene and murine brain proteins using plasmid constructs.

May 1999 – April 2000: Temple University Hospital, Departments of Neurosurgery and Diagnostic Imaging – Took part in designing and carrying out a study evaluating the accuracy of anatomical measurements on MRI in predicting areas of cortical activation during somatosensory tasks as confirmed by fMRI.

Sub-Investigator Boston Scientific Matrix Aneurysm Coil Trial – 2008-2009: Roll included performing pre-and post-procedure clinical assessments and took part in aneurysm embolization procedures for patients enrolled in the trial.

Site Principal Investigator Medtronic Apollo Microcatheter trial – 2015- 2017: Roll includes screening, enrolling and preforming clinical assessments on eligible patients, performing intracranial AVM embolization procedures on enrolled patients, training sub-investigators on the study protocol, and attending annual study PI meetings.

Site Co-Investigator Penumbra Smart Coil Registry/trial – 2018 –2019: Roll included screening and enrolling patients in a post market registry evaluating the safety and efficacy of a novel aneurysm coil design in which a variable softness detachable coil is used to treat intracranial aneurysms and other vascular pathology of the central nervous system

Site Principal Investigator Medtronic ADVANCE Trial – 2019 -present. FDA mandated trial evaluating the safety of a flow diverting stent with a phosphatidylcholine layer designed to minimize the devices thrombogenicity. Roll includes the screening and enrolling of patients, training of staff, and the performance of endovascular procedures using the study device.
