State Universities (EAPSU) Undergraduate Writing Contests

New this year! Three Categories! Flash Fiction! Flash Non-fiction! Poetry!

Submission Guidelines:

Poetry: Undergraduate students from PASSHE institutions are eligible to submit 1-3 poems.

Flash Fiction: Undergraduate students from PASSHE institutions are eligible to submit 1 piece of prose fiction under 250 words.

Flash Non-fiction: Undergraduate students from PASSHE institutions are eligible to submit 1 piece of prose non-fiction under 250 words.

Deadline: July 1, 2019

Please put the contest you're submitting to in the Subject Line of your e-mail submission (for example "EAPSU Flash Non-fiction Contest"). Submissions should be attached as a .pdf, .doc, .docx, or .rtf file and should have the poet's name on each page. In the body of the e-mail, please include your name, school, address, phone number and e-mail address, as well as the genre of your submission. Also please include the title(s) of each piece.

Prizes:

Winning writers for each contest will receive $100 (first prize) and $50 (second prize), and will be invited to read their work at the Fall 2019 EAPSU Conference at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania on October 25, 2019.

Winners will also be published in Impost.
