Check your Apple ID. It must end in appleid. for apps to work

properly. Click here or go to the library website to request a DVUSD Apple ID

or password reset.

Check iOS. Is it updated? Some apps wont work without latest iOS update.

Try a hard reset (Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until no Apple logo appears.)



Empty caches. Go to Settings to empty the cache in Safari. In the Chrome

app, open History and tap on Clear Browsing Data.

Check the number of apps you have available in your school app catalog. The number should be over 200. If

you have lower than 200 apps, you have an enrollment issue and will need to re-enroll into your iPad. Save any

files you need and click here for re-enroll directions.

Go into settings and check if iOS needs updating.

Restart wifi.

I some of the app installed, delete it and reinstall through school app catalog. (Click on install even if it says it is installed.)

In the school app store, choose again to install the app (even if it says it's installed). Tap the home button to minimize

Safari. Double-click on the home button to display the open apps and choose Safari (where the school app store is). Tap

on Processing over and over until you see a green bar at the bottom of the page. Repeat this process until you

see the app on your home screen.

appears.)



If not able to install for long period of time, save all needed files, then reset iPad (erase all content and

settings, re-enroll). This is a radical solution because if forces you to start all over on your iPad!

Check URL.











URL should be dvusd..

Check username and password. Use the same credentials you use to login to a

school computer. (Dont type @learner. after your username!)

Open Canvas in the Chrome app.

It may work better there.

If at school, check Wifi. Canvas doesn't work with Guest network! Forget Guest

network and use DVUSDmobile network.

Sometimes it helps to clear the Canvas cache on your iPad. Close Canvas App >

Apple Settings > Student > Reset Cache on Next Launch
