Printing Report Cards in Aspen

The easiest way to view ALL report card comments from ALL teachers for one student is printing a report card. To print a report card for an individual student do the following: 1. Click on the Student top tab 2. Select the student you wish to view by clicking on the small box to the left of their name

Click on the box next to the student's name 3. Click on the Transcript side tab

Click on the Transcript tab

4. Your screen should look like this

5. However, depending on the time of year, your screen could look like this. If it looks like this, it may be before T1 when grades have not been completed.

6. From the Report Drop down menu select the Report Card program for the Year and Grade of the student you are printing a report card for.

Select the correct school year

Select the correct grade 7. The Report Card input screen appears.

Enter the Term you want the report to run for. The Term selection determines which comments print on the report.

For example, if you were to print a report card for Term 2 of the prior year, all grade columns will print however the Comments will be from the selected Term (2). Also, if you print a report card from a prior year, the first page will print the student's current Grade, Homeroom and Homeroom teacher. This data is pulled from the Student table when the report is printed. We do not store the history of the student's Room assignments.

Uncheck Print Signature Page 4. Click "Run" at the bottom of the page to generate the report

3. Seelct the Term you want

3. Click on Attendance side tab 4. Click Run 8. Depending on how you have your system set up, the report may either pop up on the screen, go to your downloads folder or it may ask you if you want to open or save the document. 9. To select another student, or to go back to the list of students, click on the Student tab at the top of the screen.
