*Do you see how the word would is included in the phrases above?
That’s why the Spanish verb gustar has an ía on the end of it.
It’s not simply I like, it’s would like.

*When you see a verb that has (ie) after it, it means that there is a spelling change to it,

Tener gañas de + infinitive form of the action verb – to feel like… (doing something)
Tener que + infinitive form of the action verb – to have to …(do something)
