• Spring Lake Kitchen Tour - Saturday, October 22.  2 shifts 9:30 – 12:30 and 12:30 – 3:30.    BE ON TIME and DRESS APPROPRIATELY (no jeans!).  Still looking for 3-5 people for afternoon shift.    (Julia)

• Big Hearts to Little Hearts Walk-a-thon - Saturday October 29, Taylor Pavilion, Belmar. Arrive by 8:30 am. 8 volunteers needed. Contact person is Mrs. Schmidt. (Nicole)

• DUNES at Manasquan Methodist Church – October 21, November 4 and 18, December 2 and 16, 7 - 10 pm. (Luke)

• Manasquan Elks Breakfasts second Sunday of every month. Date – November 13th. The volunteers should plan to arrive around 8 AM and should expect to leave no later than 11:30 am. (Nicole)

• Candy Cane Hunt - 10 to 12 students to help out on night of December 2nd from 5:30pm to 8:30p. Meet at Squan Plaza – Laura is the contact. (Luke)

• Santa’s Helpers at Christmas Central - 2 students on the following Saturdays from Noon to 3:00 pm 11/26, 12/3, 12/10 & 12/17. (Alec)

• MES Ice Cream Social on Friday, October 21st - 8 to 10 kids to volunteer to scoop ice cream, and work the topping and prize tables from 6:45 to 9:00 – contact person Debbie Tilton

• Brielle Recreation Fall Festival this Sunday (10/23) from 12-3 pm - 2 volunteers to help out collect money and hand out a hat, pumpkin head and string to make a scarecrow. Contact person Denise Lembo.

• Just Us Girls” walk for breast cancer at the Sea Girt army camp this Saturday, October 22nd - see Mrs. Elms in guidance ASAP. 

• Giving Tree – ask your club if they would like to take an ornament. (Nicole)

• Holiday Wreaths – you are responsible to sell 5 wreaths. Mary Kate Reilly and Kelly Petillo are the chairs.

• Squan-A-Thon – Friday, March 2, 2012. We expect all Key Club members to participate in this event. You will need to complete the application (return by Friday, November 18th) and send out the solicitation letters to your close family members and family friends.

• Thanksgiving Food Drive - October and November meetings – must hand in 10 cans/boxes. Ask parents to donate their free turkey. (Alec)

• Tutoring and Homework Club at MES after school on Thursdays from 3 - 4 pm (Mrs. Sanders) or during their lunch/study hall (Mrs. Sollecito). They always could use more tutors.

• Key Club dues for next year 2011-2012 due now - $13.00 made payable to MHS Key Club. New inductees do not have to pay again.

• Involvement Hours Sheet – remember you need 10 volunteer hours of MHS scheduled events and 20 outside volunteer hours – you are responsible to keep your form updated!!! If you cannot make a meeting you must see Mr. Mawn or Mrs. McKenzie to get credit for attendance.
