Requirements:

Competitive candidates will have successfully completed applicable (at least) master¡¯s degree

program. Additionally, they must hold active unrestricted board certification and all applicable

Ohio licensure to practice and prescribe as defined by the Ohio Revised Code. We will offer

completion of the Ohio certificate to prescribe externship as part of this fellowship opportunity

for mid-level providers.

Position Description:

A one-year post graduate fellowship in dermatology is available beginning Aug 1, 2017 through

July 31, 2018, at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. Candidates will acquire extensive clinical

and didactic expertise in inpatient and outpatient dermatology to include: general dermatology,

surgical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and multidisciplinary management (e.g. plastic,

transplant, and rheumatology). At the conclusion of this program, the candidate will be prepared

to independently organize, develop and run an advanced specialty dermatology service.

Along with their clinical and surgical training, candidates will participate in and plan research

initiatives in the Department of Dermatology; candidates will be supported to submit abstracts,

articles for publication, and attend major meeting(s).

Candidates will be exposed to emerging technologies to include: tele-health modalities, EMR

based data analytics and informatics, ancillary therapies, point-of¨Ccare diagnostics, laser

technologies, and advanced medical/surgical management.

The position is offered through the Department of Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic.

Compensation and Benefits:

The fellow will be hired in a full-time, salary exempt position not to exceed one full year of

employment. The fellow will be eligible for the full-time benefits as described in the Total

Rewards Brochure. The salary will be paid to the employee on a semi-monthly basis.

If the fellow is successful in the role, upon completion of the termed program the fellow will

have the option to apply for an open position within the department or within the Cleveland

Clinic enterprise. If the fellow does not secure employment within the Cleveland Clinic, their

employment will be terminated per the terms of this fellowship.
