We hope everyone is doing well! We're excited to have another Morning Meeting with students this Wednesday, May 13th, at 10:00 a.m. Just a couple reminders about our Morning Meetings - your child will receive a Google Hangout invitation sent to his/her CPS Gmail address or sent to the parents' personal email. Students' CPS usernames and passwords are included on page 3 of our Learning Objectives. To access email,

click on the following link: to have your

child login. Once logged in, your child will be able to accept the invitation for our Google Hangout. You may want to help your child join our Morning Meeting a few minutes before 10:00 on Wednesday, just to be sure things are working properly. Once logged on, please make sure that your child mutes his/her microphone. Students will be given chances to talk but need to hear instructions from their teacher first.

A couple of school-wide notes: - The Local School Council (LSC) of New Field is conducting its annual evaluation of the school's principal, and would like input from parents. Your confidential response will give valuable information to the LSC. Please take 5 minutes to complete the survey here by Friday, May 15. After that, students will be able to access practice at their individualized levels.

*Note: Please let us know if anyone is having difficulty logging in to Lalilo! Phonics practice is key to reading and understanding more complex texts.

Tricky Word Strategies:

Sight Word Resources: Please see attached sight words lists. Students are at various levels on these lists so begin with the Pre-Primer list to see which words you child knows.
