Shared by Swisher Library Our super hero cape is made out of a t-shirt. A felt sticker is in the shape of SR to stand for Super Reader. The mask was a kit left over from summer reading. Beside the cape is 3 stick puppets. They are circus animals, the kids colored them with crayons and glued on popsicle sticks. We put on a small circus performance after the craft.

Christmas stocking is made out of construction paper. The kids colored the decorations and we glued them on. The stocking does have a back piece of construction paper glued to it, and we were able to put suckers in the stockings as they were leaving. The Christmas tree is a toilet paper roll and construction paper. The collage is construction paper and the kids glued there bones to the paper.

The penguin is made of water bottles, construction paper, cotton balls, and a feather. The monkey mask template is printed on cardstock the kids used crayons to color, then glued mask to a popsicle stick.

We made our bear faces out of small paper plates, construction paper, and jewels and pom poms for the eyes and the nose.

Shared by Filippa Genovese, Romeo District Library in Romeo, MI. The kids and I had a blast making pizza! I read Pizza the Size of the Sun by Prelutsky and we replicated the ingredients listed in the poem. It's simply a piece of cardboard which I cut into a 14 inch circle. I glued on the "sauce" and then covered that with shelf liner. The kids added the pizza toppings which I had cut out earlier. Super fun!

Shared by Bridgette Broom, Lamar County Library System in Mississippi. The kids LOVE when I do an edible craft! We used a noise maker for the nose on the elephant and the kids had a BLAST making noise!

Shared by Jennie Tobler-Gaston - Camp Lejeune Base Library, North Carolina. I have attached a picture of my craft wall with some of the most popular crafts we have done for our Preschool Story Time. Here is also a link to my Pinterest page of most of the crafts created for either our story time or our craft mornings (). I usually create kits for each kid and put all the materials in one baggy or paper clipped together (it makes handing them out easier) and then I have my example and tell them to create your own.

Shared by Ann Miner, Austin Public Library in Austin, Texas. All you need is a pile of green triangles and some glue sticks. The tails get tied around the kids' waists.
