How to Make It

Assist crafters in tracing and cutting out a hot air

balloon and basket using the templates. Then help

them punch two holes each at the top of the basket

and along the bottom of the balloon. Punch one

additional hole at the top of the balloon.

2 Direct crafters to thread a pipe stem through the

hole at the top of the balloon and twist the ends to

create a hanger.

4 Invite crafters to use the arts & crafts materials to

decorate the hot air balloon and basket.

5 Have crafters decorate a Jumbo People Stick using

the collage materials. Assist them in gluing or

taping the People Stick to the back of the basket.

Once all the materials dry, this fanciful hot air

balloon is ready for high-flying fun!

3 Have crafters thread a second pipe stem through a

hole in the basket and continue up through a hole

in the balloon, over to the next balloon hole and

back down through the second hole in the basket.

Have crafters bend both ends of the pipe stem to

secure the balloon to the basket.
