JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title:Division:Bid Management Finance & Data AnalystProgrammes / New BusinessLocation:Responsible to:Date:Rank: LondonDirector, New Business DevelopmentJune 201741.JOB PURPOSEDescribe why the job exists.To develop data and finance templates that supports IPPF to win bids (in particular from the EU and UK Governments) that will support the delivery of IPPF’s Strategic Framework.2.KEY TASKSDescribe the main activities undertaken by the job holder. The list need not be exhaustive, but should reflect the most important features of the job.Working with the Bid Development Manager & Director of New Business Development to support the development of competitive proposals including win strategy, partner strategy and cost strategy particularly for EC and UK governments.Ensure responsiveness and compliance of pre-qualification documentation and proposals through analysis of donor requirements and bid documentation and the use of a compliance and responsiveness matrix.For each bid, support and develop a proposal data relevant to institutional bid development monitor calendar, budget, risks and issues log, quality standards, communication protocols and configuration management standards.Support Regional Offices (RO) and Member Associations (MA) in supplying relevant finance and key data that supports the institutional requirement of all key bids Compile, write, edit and key data systems to support proposal content as required. Facilitate the agreement for significant bids of key technical data (technical and Financial) documents.Research and recruit consultants as required to assist with restricted funding proposal development and review all institutional funding partner requirements. Support colleagues in finance, data and technical teams and ROs to develop programme data in line with funding requirements with emphasis in EC and UK government restricted funding.Monitor and ensure bid data is current is compliant and competitive including supporting data and costing teams on all bids.Input and maintain MA database of key information on IPPF for use in preparing restricted funding applications.Provide support for training and capacity-building on tendering for Central Office (CO) and RO staff on EC and UK funding opportunities as appropriate.To ensure gender is effectively mainstreamed within the remit of the post and in line with IPPF’s Gender Equality Policy.Support BD team in building and maintaining positive relationships with all members of staff, and contacts both within and outside the Federation. To become familiar with the Federation’s Health and Safety Programme and Guidelines for using Visual Display Units. Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health issues. Developed application in administrative work. 6. SKILLSDetail the skills needed to do the job, including languages.Excellent interpersonal and communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Outstanding writing skills with fluent English - ability to write to a variety of audiences including highly technical materials.Excellent infographics skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills required to meet deadlines.Ability to take initiative and work autonomously.Excellent Information Technology skills Fluent English essential.
