/ What You'll Need:

? 1 empty doTERRA supplement bottle ? Glue or Mod Podge ? Tape

0 What You'll Do:

? Craft paint, newspaper, scrapbook paper, pipe cleaners, construction paper, buttons, ribbons, or other craft/decoration supplies you have on hand.

Note: You can use almost anything to make this pencil holder. Choose to use supplies you have around the house. You may even be able to use some items that would normally get thrown away.

1. Before you start making your pencil holder, make sure to answer question 1 on your "What

You Discovered" worksheet.

2. Remove the lid of your supplement bottle and wash out the bottle to get rid of any supple-

ment residue.

3. If you would like, remove the label from the supplement bottle so you have a clean bottle

surface to work with.

4. Either paint your supplement bottle or cover it in paper using glue or mod podge.

5. Allow the bottle to dry.

6. Once your bottle is completely dry, start attaching the extra supplies you've gathered. This

may include, but is not limited to, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, pompoms, and ribbons. You can attach these items using glue or tape.

7. Get creative. This pencil holder is completely yours. You get to decide how you want it to

look and what you want to use to decorate it. You can make a monster or an animal, or you can decorate it with your favorite color or with polka dots. It's completely up to you!

8. Once everything is attached and all the paint and glue has dried, place your pencil holder

somewhere you can easily use it and fill it with pencils and pens.

, What Does It Mean?

In this activity, you had the opportunity to reuse something that normally you might have thrown away. Reusing objects, such as supplement bottles or paper, is important because it limits the amount of waste you produce. The earth is a beautiful place, but it has limited resources. Learning to use these resources wisely is an important step in protecting our world and making sure it continues to supply the things we need in the future.

Fun Fact:

Did you know that most of the packaging dTERRA uses is recyclable? Check with your local recycling companies to find what materials they are equipped to recycle.
