Obituary Express Sympathy Condolences Photos

Peacefully, with family by his side, at the Residen al Hospice of Grey Bruce, Owen Sound, on Saturday, July 26th, 2014, in his 78th year. Don, loving husband of Sharon (nee Lacasse). Don is survived by his sister, Noreen and her husband Harry Kibler, brother, Howard and his wife Audrey Ribey, sister-in-law, Marsha and her husband Dan Lewis, brother-in-law, Patrick and his wife Sheree Lacasse, and many loving nieces and nephews. He is also a special nephew to Marion (McKenzie) Lougheed, and Bert McKenzie and Jean Foden. Don is predeceased by his parents, Wilmer and Jean (McKenzie) Ribey, sister, Marion and her husband Alvin Schlorff, niece, Elinor (Schlorff) Phillips, and his father and mother-in-law, Norman and Eva (Schock) Lacasse.

Don was an educator /administrator with the former Bruce County Board of Educa on, a life long member of Wesley United Church (Bruce Township), an ac ve member of the Bruce Township Historical Society for the past twenty years, and a world traveller.

Friends will be received at the Port Elgin Chapel of the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, 519-832-2222, on Tuesday, July 29th, 2014, from 2 ? 4 and 7 ? 9 pm. A Celebra on of Don's life will be held at the Bruce Township Community Centre, Underwood, on Wednesday, July 30th at 2 pm with the Reverend Jenny Stephens offering words of love and support. Interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

Memorial dona ons to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Founda on, VON Grey Bruce, or the Residen al Hospice of Grey Bruce Inc. would be appreciated by the family.
