Perform market research in local, regional, or national areas, gather information in regards to potential services, offerings, and assist in creating a marketing plan. Gather information from surveys.Analyze divisional/departmental processes and financials to track and suggest improvements for the most effective use of resources.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop analytical and reporting tools to integrate financial information and provide a framework for evaluating high level decisions.Develop long-range financial planning and modeling tools to evaluate the implications of possible changes. Prepare financial studies to provide comprehensive financial analyses and strategic recommendations. Review and analyze information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures.Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, and needs, to identify factors affecting product demand.Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature.Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction. Gather and organize information on processes and procedures.Utilize available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management's quest for performance improvement.Recommend alternative solutions to management as to courses of action that best meet the organization's goals.
