Williams Early Childhood CenterDear Families,Thank you for assisting with your child’s instruction during the virtual learning! We have all had to learn a new skill set during this time. We appreciate the efforts you have made to ensure your child has continued to learn. If you haven’t had the opportunity, Williams has their own google classroom. It is full of fun videos and books being read by a variety of staff members. The code is 4g6hfn4.Summer SchoolWith the continuation of social distancing, virtual summer school will not be offered in June to incoming kindergarten students. Virtual summer school will be available to first grade through 12th grade students. If restrictions are lifted, the district has planned to have a seated summer school for kindergarten through 12th grade students July 20th through 31st. Extended School Year If your child qualifies for extended school year services (ESY) with their IEP, they will have the option of receiving virtual services in June and/or seated services July 20th through July 31st. You will receive a survey via email for you to fill out to let us know your interest. More Important News669005199380top2860083600Student Item Drop-Off/Pick-UpOn May 26, May 27, and May 29, from 8:00-3:00, we will have any items your child may have left in their classroom available for pick-up. We will have evening hours on available May 27 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Tables will be set up on the outside sidewalks, weather permitting, or in the foyer. Your child will have a labeled bag/package and there will be staff members available to assist you, if needed. Please practice social distancing guidelines as you come to pick-up/drop-off items. There will be a bin to turn in library books. If you are unable to get to Williams to pick-up your child’s things, let us know and we will make different arrangements on a case-by-case basis. Teacher/Staff Appreciation DaySome of you have asked about teacher appreciation day. It certainly looks different this year! A simple, “Thank you” is so meaningful. Have your child draw a special picture for your teacher or if you want to drop something off at school, we will put it in their classroom for when they return at the end of May. ................
