Famous Designer?Last week we looked at the Scottish artist Steven Brown, this week we are going to look at Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Charles Rennie Mackintosh is a Scottish artist, designer and architect. He was very influential in the movement Art Nouveau and had a very recognisable style. Mackintosh was born in Glasgow and studied at the Glasgow School of Art.?He created lots of?stained glass?windows which almost always included his stylised rose.??Here is one?of Mackintosh’s?stained-glass?window designs: ?Can you design your own stained-glass window inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh? Mackintosh uses lots of black lines and stylized roses in his picture and very minimalistic colours.
