FMCSA adds Fertilizer to Emergency DeclarationI am pleased to report that at TFI’s urging, fertilizer has been included in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Emergency Declaration allowing an hours-of-service (HOS) exemption for drivers transporting certain products. We received word of this important clarification late yesterday during a call with FMCSA leadership. Fertilizer is now listed in a new FAQ sheet (found HERE).
