Please take note of the information regarding the enrolment procedure for the 2021 Grade 8 Applications.

Grade 8 2021 GDE Online Applications Open.

25 July 2020

Closing date for Grade 8 2021 applications. (Final date to be confirmed by GDE)

October 2020

You will be informed by the GDE whether your application has been successful.

The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has confirmed that the admissions process opens on 25 June 2020 and closes on 25 July 2020.

Applications for admission to GRADE 8 2021 at Sutherland High School will take place via the GDE e-application portal (.za). Applications may only be submitted during the official application period.

NO walk-in/dropped off applications will be permitted at the school due to the COVID19 regulations.

Applicants who apply first will not necessarily be placed first. Placement at schools prioritises applicants who live in the school feeder zone from the home address that is closest to the school.

SUBMISSION OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:

Once the application has been successfully submitted via the GDE portal, parents will receive a waiting list number.

Due to COVID-19, parents will be able to upload supporting documents via the GDE application portal.

If parents are unable to upload the supporting documents onto the GDE portal, they must please scan and email them to grade8admissions@sutherlandhs.co.za. In the email, please include your reference number and the learners name and surname.

For Grade 9 ? 11 2021 applications, please contact the school for further information.

Please DO NOT drop your applications off at the school.
