Application of learners that are currently in Grade 7 in public schools in Gauteng to Grade 8 for the 2022 academic year.

Phase 1 ? Applications Open Phase 1 ? Application Close

Phase 1 ? Placement Period

15 October to 30 November 2021

Parents will receive placement offers from 15 October to 30 November 2021. The parent must accept an offer to confirm placement.

PHASE 2 APPLICATION PERIOD (13 SEPTEMBER - 8 OCTOBER 2021)

PHASE 2

Applications to Grade 1 learners OR learners in Grade 7 who are currently not in a public school applying to Grade 8 for 2022 academic year.

Phase 2 ? Applications Open

Phase 2 ? Application Close

8 October 2021 at 00h00

Phase 2 ? Placement Period

15 November to 30 November 2021

Parents will receive SMSs notifying them about the outcome of their application. The process to accommodate unplaced learned will be concluded by mid-December 2021.
