Assignment Requirements

Write your name in the box next to the word "Timeline." Using the attached graphic organizer, you must select four events from your own personal life, and two historical events to use in your "Timeline." You must include the date for each event and arrange the events in chronological order. You will title each of the six boxes with the event that you have chosen and will write a brief paragraph about the importance of the event. For example, I might include my wedding day, college graduation, adopting my cat, and landing my first job as my four personal events. I might also choose 9/11 and the electing of President George W. Bush as my two historical events. In each of the boxes, I would write about why I chose each event or why it is important. (You may not use Bush being elected president or 9/11) Each event and the accompanying paragraph is worth 5 points for a total of 30 points.
