Independence Day Celebration

The Pike County Parks and Recreation Authority will sponsor the Pride of Pike Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016. The event will be held at the Pike County Soccer Complex on Twin Oaks Road in Williamson, GA. All vendors who wish to participate must fill out a registration form, including a complete list of all items you wish to sell and return it along with their fees no later than June 24th, 2016. All items submitted for sale must be approved by the committee and you will be notified prior to acceptance of your payment of any items not approved for sale on your list. No one will be permitted to sell any items not listed and approved on your registration form.

EVENT POLICIES – VENDORS

❖ Each $75.00 booth rental entitles registrants to a 15’ x 15’ space. There is an additional charge of $10.00 for a 20amp electrical outlet. Registrants must provide heavy duty extension cord and surge protector.

❖ Spaces will be assigned on a first come-first served basis to registrants. To be assured a space, vendor’s fees must be paid no later than June 24th, 2016. All vendor fees are non-refundable.

❖ Booth set-up is between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Absolutely no vehicles will be permitted on soccer fields after 3:00 p.m. and while the event is in operation. Booths are scheduled to be open from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Vehicles are not allowed back until booth is broken down and permission is given by the Event Coordinator. Each vendor will receive (2) two parking passes to park in the soccer complex lot.

❖ Registrants should be prepared for inclement weather.

❖ Registrants must provide their own tables, chairs, and tents for their space. There will be garbage cans throughout the grounds. All cardboard boxes must be flattened and garbage must be placed in provided roll off dumpster in parking lot.

❖ All food vendors are required to wear food prep sanitary gloves whenever handling food and to follow all food & health code regulations.

❖ All food vendors can sell drinks, but must be Pepsi products such as: Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Sierra Mist, Mountain Dew, Gatorade and Aqualibrium Water, etc.

❖ Weapons cannot be sold to anyone under the age of 18.

❖ Pets are not allowed on park grounds.

❖ Tobacco products and alcohol will not be allowed inside the park.

❖ Absolutely no roller blades, skates, skateboards, hoverboards or bikes will be permitted to be used on the park grounds during the event.

❖ Pike County Parks & Recreation Authority will not be held liable for any damages to or loss of any merchandise or injuries incurred while participating in this event or while on the event property.
