What do I need to do to obtain a Learner's license?

As client you have two choices

Computer Test = Very Low Pass Rate about 30% =Availability in 2 weeks= OVER a 1000 questions on the data base for the Computer Test =Need a morning to do a booking at DLTC

Step 1: Be serious about obtaining your learners and be willing to study. We do things legally ? that means that you will have to do your part. Please note you have to be 17 years old to apply for Code 2 (light motor vehicles) learner's license and 16 for Code 1 (motorcycles) learner's license and 18 for the Code 3 ( heavy motor vehicles)

Step 2: Transfer the amount as per the pricelist to our account. See end of Price list for banking details. Please use client name and surname as reference. ONLY ONCE WE HAVE A DATE.

Step 3: Email a copy of the client's id, proof of payment and the Client Registration Form (see bottom of Info Pack or attached) to admin@olympicdriving.co.za.

What you will get for your money:

We will contact you to arrange a date and time to take you to the testing station to book a test date once all the documents as mentioned in step 3 above have been received by us.

At the DLTC (driver's license testing centre) you will have to do an eye test, so if you wear glasses or contact lenses, please remember to bring it along. You may do an eye test for free at Specsavers, but please ensure they put the branch stamp on the eye test report as the DLTC won't accept the report without this stamp.

The person applying for the learner's license test must be present in person in order to complete the test booking. You also have to bring along your ID, copy of your ID, 2 ID photos and the learners license application fee payable to the DLTC in cash.

NOTE: For Paper Test Option a proof of address is required See Attached the Details and guidelines for this documents and an example of what an affidavit looks like that need to be completed at the police station if the client doesn't have a proof of address in their own name.

Please note that the test bookings can only be done on weekdays. The testing stations are not as productive as we are and therefore we have to leave early in the mornings in order to ensure that we get assistance at the DLTC. We will supply the relevant study material and telephonic assistance if requested. We can arrange for a pre-test to be written at the office at an additional fee. Please enquire from the office.

Transport to and from the DLTC on the day of your test in order for you to complete the learner's license test at the DLTC.

Please note that on the test date you must remember to bring along your ID book, issuing fee payable to the DLTC, receipt you received from the DLTC with the test date and time and our study material.

What do I need to do to start driving lessons?

Step 1: Ensure that you have a valid learner's license & always bring this to the driving lessons. Step 2: Complete the Client Registration Form on the last page. Step 3: Email us the completed Client Registration Form and a copy of your id and learner's license Step 4: Phone the office to book your first lesson on (012) 662 0759 or 082 906 0250 also welcome to SMS or Whatsapp a message if we miss your call. Step 5: Pay for your scheduled driving lesson via EFT or cash to the instructor before lesson commences. See end of Price list for banking details. Please use client name and surname as reference Step 6: Email proof of payment to admin@olympicdriving.co.za Step 7: Book additional lessons as necessary with the instructor after each lesson. Remember to bring an additional R35.00 with on lessons when parking will be practiced to pay the public parking training facility.

Saturdays & Public Holidays

We do provide service on these days at no additional cost, but please note that the instructors are committing their time away from families to provide you with a service. Therefore to promote productivity and reward them for their effort and commitment, the following rules apply:

No cancelations after 16:30 on a Friday for any scheduled appointments for the weekend

The office (administration mecca) is closed on Saturdays so you cannot call to change or move or cancel an appointment. Cell no's are provided when making the 1st lesson so contact your Instructor direct in the case of an emergency)

How do I book a driver's license test?

Step 1: Discuss whether you are test ready with your instructor. He / she knows what needs to be covered and what is required in order to pass a test, so take their advice seriously.

Step 2: Once you and your instructor have decided that it is time to book a test at the DLTC, contact the office and we can pre-book a test date online on the Enatis system for you. You will need your initials, surname, ID number, contact details and e-mail address. The online booking will need to be confirmed within 3 days after the date is booked online and you will need to confirm the appointment in person and arrange for us to pick you up for a test booking at the testing station of your choice. Please note that you will not be the only one who is picked up. In order for us to make this service financially feasible we take learners in groups to the testing stations. Please ensure that you are ready in time for the pickup as arranged with the office as you will not only be wasting your time but the other learner's time by being late.

Step 3: Transfer the amount as per the pricelist to our account. Please use client name and surname as reference

Step 4: Email proof of payment to admin@olympicdriving.co.za

Step 5: Please confirm with the office your test date and time once you have made the booking in order for us to book the vehicle and instructor for this important date.

What service is included in a test booking trip?

Transport to and from the relevant DLTC Assistance in completing the relevant forms Coordinating the logistics as far as possible at the DLTC Assistance with taking photos and making copies (if not prepared in advance)

Please note: You have to bring along your original ID, copy of your ID, printed Enatis booking confirmation letter, original learner's license, copy of your learner's license, 4 ID photos (or R50) and the driver's license application fee payable to the DLTC in cash. Please note: Centurion testing ground does not accept cash for application fees and will ONLY accept debit cards.

What happens on the actual driver's license test date?

The client will be picked up a few hours before the time for a revision lesson, and to ensure that the client is at the DLTC on time for the test.

The revision lesson will take place and all aspects of the K53 driver's test will be covered.
