JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title:Office AdministratorResponsible to:Assessments Manager, WSET AwardsResponsible for:N/A The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is a registered charity which provides market-leading qualifications in wines, spirits and sake in 18 languages. Our qualifications are offered via a network of 678 centres (Approved Programme Providers) in 73 countries. WSET Awards is the awarding body division of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, responsible for the design, content and administration of WSET qualifications.Overall ResponsibilityTo provide general administrative assistance to the Assessments Team and the WSET Awards division with maximum efficiency in terms of customer service, quality and quantity of output.Key Result AreasGeneral Office Administration File examination scripts and arrange for materials to be archived on- and off-site.Maintain the store room in an orderly state at all times.Assist with photocopying, copy-typing and other administrative tasks as required. Assist with the booking-in and sorting of Level 4 examination scripts on return from Examination Centres in preparation for dispatch to examiners for marking.Examination Order Processing and Results IssueAs directed by the Assessments Manager, assist the Assessments team in processing examination orders and results in line with agreed targets.Customer EnquiriesHandle enquiries from internal and external customers professionally and ensure they are answered promptly or passed on to the appropriate team member.Other ActivitiesAs required by the Assessments Manager and/or Director of WSET Awards, contribute to the successful operation of the division overall and support other members of the division, participating in the Presentation of Scholarships, trade fairs and other PR opportunities.Skills and CompetenciesGeneral office and administration skillsGeneral IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)Access database experience to intermediate level - including ability to handle simple queriesPersonal AttributesWell-organised and numerate with meticulous attention to detailSound planner who anticipates issues, prioritises and can work to deadlinesExcellent team worker with first-rate communication skills Honest with the ability to declare and correct errorsHigh level of integrity to work with confidential information Maturity and authority to maintain WSET criteria and standards when working with customersSalary + Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceContact InformationJackie Rawlings, Assessments Manager (jrawlings@wset.co.uk)Closing Date: Monday 16 January 2017 ................
