Now is the time for you to start gathering your ideas for the Holiday Ornament Contest.

The rules are as follows:

1. The contest is open to all BSA employees at the national office.

2. All ornaments must be homemade by the BSA employee.

3. Contestants must submit their entry no larger than 6 inches high, 6 inches wide, and 6 inches deep. The base can be in any shape so long as it stays within the above measurements. You may glue on any objects to make your ornament decorative-be creative! Examples are glitter, ribbon, stars, cotton balls, etc.

4. Attached to each homemade holiday ornament must be an explanation of what the holidays mean to you. This information must be on a sheet of paper/card no larger than 3-by-5 inches.

5. All entries must include your name, telephone extension, and SUM number.

6. Only one entry per BSA employee.

7. All ornaments will be displayed during the Chief's Holiday Reception. Ornaments will be returned the following week.

8. The contest shall be judged by the Chief's Holiday Reception Committee. Committee members are allowed to participate but will not be included in the contest for a prize.

9. Entries must be submitted to Vicky Contreras, S210, ext. 2249, by the deadline of Dec. 7, 2012.

BE SURE THAT YOU FOLLOW THE RULES CAREFULLY SO YOU DO NOT GET DISQUALIFIED IN THE JUDGING.
